First Presbyterian Church is dedicated to outreach in our East Texas community and beyond.   FPC helped found and actively supports many non-profit organizations.

Shelter Agency for Families in East Texas (SAFE-T)  | (Facebook)  Their mission is to create an environment where violence and abuse are not tolerated in the communities we serve.  Abuse diminishes the full expression of life which is every person's right.

Habitat for Humanity   Working toward a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Cypress Basin Hospice   Provides end of life care throughout Northeast Texas.

Titus County Cares   A Christ-centered non-profit organization, coordinates resources and services that meet the needs of our neighbors in Titus County.   TCC serves people in emergency situations by giving food to help them make it through the month (Food Pantry), by sending home backpacks of food every weekend to local children in need (Food4Kids), through child sponsorship (Cares4kids), and by through partnering identified at risk students with adults to spend time reading and engaging with literature (Titus County Reads).   We consider these programs as preventative measures against homelessness, hunger, and poverty.

Goodland Academy   Yakni Achukma (Choctaw for “Good Land”) Established in 1835 in Hugo, Oklahoma by Presbyterian ministers.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)    CASA helps children transition out of foster care and into happy homes.

Camp Gilmont    Gilmont’s mission is to offer a place where people can grow in mind, body, and spirit by experiencing God’s love.
